Paediatric Health

From birth to adolescence we at Tipperary Primary Care are equipped with the knowledge, empathy and understanding to look after all of your children and family’s needs.

• Two week and six week health checks
• Childhood vaccinations – these are administered by our practice nurses
• Treatment of childhood illnesses
• General health checks at two and five years, including advice on nutrition and exercise
• Treatment of asthma including annual health checks
• Treatment of common dermatological conditions
• Assessment and referral for specialist care of children with developmental and learning difficulties
• Evaluation and referral for onward management of children with psychological and mental health issues

All children under the age of six years are entitled to a GP visit card.
