Minor Medical Procedures

At Tipperary Primary Care we have modern treatment rooms equipped to allow our doctors and nurses to provide a wide range of minor procedures, including.

• Cryotherapy
• Suturing of some wounds, others may need onward referral to be dealt with in hospital.
• Incision and drainage of abscess
• Biopsy and excision of some skin lesions, including moles, cysts and certain skin cancers.
• Wedge resection of ingrowing  toe nail
• Ear syringing
• Wound dressings
• Leg ulcer management, in conjunction with our public health nurse colleagues
